The Enchanted Bazaar
What is it?
I’m a florist who also sells my quirky photographed images on printed products. I find I sell best at alternative markets & events - I happily travel to find these but would love to start a series of events closer to home and am looking for similar traders who might like to join me. This first event will be a Yule Market, I am combining it with a door wreath making workshop to provide an initial base of footfall for the event.
When is it?
Sunday 29th November 2026, 3-6pm
Where is it?
I’ll be using the Vernon Institute which is in Saughall, Chester. It’s a quirky building with a black & white clock tower, has its own car park & is reportedly haunted too!
How busy will it be?
Straight up: this is my first attempt at this sort of event and I cannot guarantee footfall. However I WILL: advertise to my mailing list of 250plus, flyer locally, advertise on my socials and encourage all traders to do the same. In addition I am planning to run a wreath-making workshop during the event which will be pre-booked and are always popular so should provide an initial base of footfall.
How much is a pitch?
£25 per trader for one table. This is to cover hall hire, Overall traders licence and printing costs for advertising.
Who am I looking for?
Any creators that make witchy, whimsical or magical products, crystals, curiosities, tarot or sellers whose products will compliment the aforementioned!… What I’m avoiding: TEMU resellers (or similar), AI based products, or anything too mainstream. The market will be aimed at adults rather than children.
Restrictions:
Signal at the venue is not good! Please be prepared to take cash or offline payments just in case your payment device cannot connect to 5G. Trading space only available to businesses with proof of public liability insurance.
Collaborations?
I would love to do more events throughout the year! If you have an idea or a venue in mind-please check the relevant box and I will start a group for those interested in collaborating on future events.
